Punk Rock Princess.

Here's another video. Seems as though Avery has an ear for punk rock. She is her fathers daughter. We have music channels on our tv and this is one of her favorites. It's hard to hear the music on the video but you can get the idea. I kept these videos short for the sake of those of you still living in the stone ages with dial-up.

Walking 101

I believe that the rule book states that it's not official until you catch it on video. Well, then I guess we're official. 10 and 3/4 months old.

Sure it's a little dark and grainy, but we're still working on our video skills.

Just a few pictures.

Found a few snap shots that I liked. Thought you might enjoy them too.

Helping Erin put the cloths in the closet.

Hangin out in the PJ's, getting ready for bed.

Taking in a riveting story about mittens, lamps and a cow jumping over the moon.

An independant Streak.

So we were feeding Avery the other night and she started throwing a fit. Nothing we did could get her to calm down and we knew she was hungry. Then she all but grabbed the spoon out of Erins hand and started feeding herself and everything was fine. I guess the girl just knows what she wants and she wanted to feed herself.

Good thing it was just carrots and not something that was BRIGHT ORANGE and would stain her cloths.

Just when we thought...

Just when we thought we moved to the city...
This little fella showed up on our back porch. It made Lucy a little bonkers but aside from that, no harm no foul. What made this even more exciting was the Cicada that decided to fly in the sliding door while I had it open to take the picture. Those buggers are hard to catch, especially while they're dive bombing your head.

Camping: Episode 1

Lake Carlos State Park
Well, we made it back from our first camping trip with the girl. I'd like to say that, aside from a little rain and much colder temps than we expected, it was a success.

We had one day with near perfect weather. As you can see, a good deal of that day was spent floating around at the beach.

We tried to get the sunnies to come up and nibble on Avery's toes but they just wern't hungry I guess.

Sunscreen on the head makes for great hair-do's.

Avery and her cousin Alondra had fun splashing each other.

A quick stop at Noonans park to see the ducks.

We all had a wonderful time(as displayed here by Alondra). Besides the rain on saturday the nice cool weather made it hard to come back to the 100 degree temps in Kansas.
