N'YARRR!

Looks like she got my Pirate gene! I'm so proud!

21 weeks!

I thought about it just for a second. But I think she should probably wait at least a week or so longer before she gets coffee.

Mmmm Binkys.

Erin and Avery were taking some self portraits yesterday. This one turned out great.

But most of them turned out like this.

XX Weeks

Here is the official 20 weeks picture. I guess Erin was trying to teach her a lesson by picking this picture. If you don't smile for your picture, everyones gonna see you crying.

I love the look on her face in this one.

Workin it. The binky I mean.

Lot's of things come to mind when I look at this picture but I'll just let you narrate it.

That's all for now. We're eating "solid food" now. Still just the tan variety of mush. Maybe next week we'll be eating something a little more colorful. Maybe orange?

the video

the video may not work until morning. You tube has to process it. so try again then. Its about 1minute 45 sec long so it may take a little while for dial uppers to load.

The Girl Can Laugh.

So for some strange reason, after we got home from getting her shots on Tuesday she was in a really good mood. Well, until about an hour later when she passed out. Here's a little video of her playing fetch with Lucy. Not sure, but I think she likes it.
This video is about 1:40 sec so for those of you on Dial up it may take a little while to load.

19 Weeks, Round 2 of shots and a Valiant effort at solid food.

So to start off, here is the official 19 Weeks picture.

It's been an eventful day here on the farm. So far 18 Calves have been born(4 of them just last night I think). Since it was so nice out today Avery even got to meet them and hear them moo.

We also had our 4 month doctor visit. That was all fun and games until the nurses came in with the needles. Actually she was pretty tough this time. Her face turned a nice shade of red and she let out a few good screams but then it was all good. So she's officially 13 1/2 lbs and 25 inches.

Then this evening we had our first attempt at "solid" food. We mixed up a little rice cereal for her and tried out a spoon for the first time. I'd say when it was all said and done we probably got two full spoons down. Then it was back to the bottle. We'll try again tommorrow.

Lastly, we found out that Avery LOVES to play fetch with Lucy. We were sitting out on the stoop since it was so nice this afternoon and of coarse Lucy had to bring me the ball and the second I threw it Avery let out the biggest squeal. This must have lasted at least 5 or 10 minutes. Sure it's not the first time she laughed but this was something special. Erin was quick with the camera so we got great video of it. I don't have time to edit it tonight so I promise I will post it tommorrow. But it's a good one. So check back tommorrow.
