So to start off, here is the official 19 Weeks picture.
It's been an eventful day here on the farm. So far 18 Calves have been born(4 of them just last night I think). Since it was so nice out today Avery even got to meet them and hear them moo.
We also had our 4 month doctor visit. That was all fun and games until the nurses came in with the needles. Actually she was pretty tough this time. Her face turned a nice shade of red and she let out a few good screams but then it was all good. So she's officially 13 1/2 lbs and 25 inches.
Then this evening we had our first attempt at "solid" food. We mixed up a little rice cereal for her and tried out a spoon for the first time. I'd say when it was all said and done we probably got two full spoons down. Then it was back to the bottle. We'll try again tommorrow.
Lastly, we found out that Avery LOVES to play fetch with Lucy. We were sitting out on the stoop since it was so nice this afternoon and of coarse Lucy had to bring me the ball and the second I threw it Avery let out the biggest squeal. This must have lasted at least 5 or 10 minutes. Sure it's not the first time she laughed but this was something special. Erin was quick with the camera so we got great video of it. I don't have time to edit it tonight so I promise I will post it tommorrow. But it's a good one. So check back tommorrow.

Great to hear the doctor visits aren't so tramatic anymore!! Hope the food thing works out! All 3 of our girls HATED "baby" food...I had to be VERY patient @ feeding time. The fruit wasn't so bad, but the veggies were always a pain!! Avery is getting so big!! CUTE faces in the pics! That outfit looks familiar, was it one of Hannah's? I can't wait to see the movie of Avery squealing when you play catch with Lucy!!! Will the cows still be little when we come in March so we can pet them???
