Florida 2012

Here are a few pictures from our latest trip out of Kansas.  Started off a little timid of the water, but who can blame them?  Sharks like adult humans the best.

Not sure what's up with blogger but they messed up the picture uploading feature and now half my pictures are sideways and out of order.  Kinda looks like it ticked Griffin off too.

Burryin the kid.

Just checkin on grandma.

The first big find.

Goldfish...the second big find.

A trip off the island to Apalachacola.  Erin made us wait till the end to get ice cream and neither of us were a fan of that decision.

Griffin found a thing.

More critters we found(sand dollars).  Handfuls of these guys.  Found a few that were quite a bit bigger as well. This was at the state park on the east side of the island.  Most of us agree that this is our favorite spot.  Low tide makes for good swimming and critter finding.

Besides the sand dollars I also pulled up a bunch of hermit crabs taking refuge in Auger shells.

Spring Break.

Yes it has been quite a while since I have posted. So here goes. Just made it back from a trip to Minnesota and here is what happened.

Griffin likes dirt.

And Avery likes being goofy.

First stop, Riverside and the old stompin grounds.

Oh how many hours we spent hangin around on these rocks in college. They're good for sittin, that's for sure.

Follow the boy, he seems to know where he's going.

How does this happen 10 minutes after we arrive?

Baby did it.

Avery you don't know who you're messin with there. You don't just start a pillow fight with the Midwest Regional Pillow-fight League Champion.

I should add, Avery did not connect on a single blow. Mom is just too good.

Griffin's staying out of it.

Relaxing at the end of the day.

Good times, good times.

and Sarah likes peanuts.

Cousins and Pumpkins!

We had a busy week last week. First off it was our wedding anniversary- 9 years! And then we had cousins come visit from Philadelphia. We were happy we were able to get together with Lilli and Mia. Avery sure loves hanging out with them. They have a great time running around and dressing up together.

Then Grandma Jan came to visit. We got to do a lot of fun things including visiting the Louisburg Cider Mill pumpkin patch.

Of course, Avery picked up the weirdest looking pumpkin. We made it cool looking though. We'll post that picture with Halloween stuff.

As you can see from the pumpkin photos, Griffin was a little tired. When we got to the play area though he perked up- he liked climbing on the tires.

And of course, we had to do the corn maze.

Avery was our leader. Last time it took us forever to get out of here. We didn't have to callo 911 or anything, but it was hot & sweaty. Today, we entrusted the instincts of our 5-year old and it worked! Record time.
