A Trip to Minnesota

Here are a few photos of our latest trip home. Avery was just starting to get over her shy stage, so there are actually some pictures of other people holding her where she's not crying.
I think She liked Great Grandma Emma.

Those eyes say it all. I think she likes this grandma too.

Of course shiny beads don't hurt.
To say she liked Great Grandmas Fish tank was an understatement.

Piano? She could take it or leave it. It was the juice box on the piano that she was most interested in.

Like I said, there are Some pictures where she isn't crying. It's a really good one of Sarah though.
We spent the night in Des Moines on the was home and with one look at the pool we knew we were going to be making a run to the store for a swim suit before diner. She did really great in the water. Obviously not ready to go for a float on her own yer but she had fun. Especially when she found out that if she dipped her thumb in the water it tasted really funny. I think Chlorine is good for babies.

A visit from the great white north.

Last weekend we had a house full of visitors from Minnesota. Everyone had a fantastic time and Avery got to spend more time with her cousins. There was kite flying, BBQing, video gaming, movie watching, boardgame playing and park visiting. It was a full weekend of fun.

The weather has been fantastic here lately so we've been
taking advantage of it.

Avery is 24 weeks old now!

And she likes to show of her lovely feet.
(Shout out to The O's in Champlin for the awsome outfit!)

Here is a bunch of kids that showed up at our house.

Oh wait, that's the Renslows.

Milly even got a visit.

Hey look, pictures.

23 Weeks.

Here she is dancing a jig.

Petting an invisible dog.

"I do it myself!"

Here she is practicing Erin's writting lips.

But sometimes she just ends up blowing bubbles.

5 Months

Here's the little lady at 5 months.

Here she is in the colander with some toys. A lot quicker that setting up the bath tub.

Her first NON white pastey food. Carrots. Lets just say shes not a big fan.
The sweet potatoes went a lot better.

This is the day she decided she wanted to try out some water. The sippy cup went a little more smoothly that the glass I was drinking out of.
